The Pier, Harwich
A Stunning Restaurant, Bar & Hotel on the Essex Coast, The Pier at Harwich is a small AA 4 star hotel and a very special destination for lovers of great food and drink.
The redefined brasserie is located on the first floor of the completely modernised 1860 listed building in historic Harwich. Experience all-day dining and outdoor dining – whenever the sun shines – with a menu celebrating modern classics, an exciting grill menu and wonderful fresh fish and shellfish landed on the harbour opposite. The Pier’s first floor balcony (for drinks and outdoor dining) overlooks the water, ships and working docks.
The NAVYÄRD on the ground floor is a continental bar and terrace adjacent to the working harbour. Experience cask ales, craft beers, cocktails and an extensive Gin Library – 150 at the last count, so if you come across an unusual gin do let us know.

Nether Hall Farm is a small, family run arable farm based in the Suffolk village of Harkstead on the Shotley peninsula. The farm boasts stunning views over the tidal River Stour estuary.
The site is unique: with less than 10 pitches nestled among spruce and fir trees, it offers guests the chance to really immerse themselves in the natural surroundings.

All visitors are welcome in our on-site coffee house with a great range of brunch, lunch, specialty coffee and of course homemade cake! You can also hire a paddleboard or open kayak.
The accommodation side of the park offers a range of options from cosy, fitted out bell tents and upcycled, super-wide containers, to our premium ‘Heron’ lodge with a private balcony and BBQ offering stunning views over the RSPB reserve and beyond.
A short walk from Manningtree train station, the perfect base to explore Flatford and Dedham Vale on foot, cycle the many miles cycle routes, or hire a kayak to see Constable country from a new perspective.
